The second film ended with the plucking of Elle’s last remaining eyeball and the explosion of Bill’s heart, so the plot of a third Kill Bill is something of a mystery right now. The main idea for the protagonist, now that Bill is dead, is the daughter of Vernita Green, Nikki Bell
As a child, Nikki watched Beatrix kill her mother in the kitchen of her own house. Beatrix is saddened to do the deed in front of Vernita’s daughter, but explains that Nikki’s mother “had it coming”. Now that Nikki is fully grown, she can take Beatrix up on her offer for revenge. When asked about this plot point Tarantino joked that Nikki is not old enough quite yet, so we may yet have a few more years to wait for a Kill Bill 3.
Another possible plot point would be the now eyeball-less Elle Driver using her training to become some kind of Zatoichi-type master that trains Nikki in the art of the assassin. this training could come in handy for getting some sweet vengeance for the death of her mother. Beatrix’s daughter B.B. is also about the same age as Nikki, and there is no doubt that Beatrix will train her to defend against any would-be revenge seekers. Will B.B. and Nikki have it out? Will blindness improve Elle’s skills and make her even more formidable than before?
Kill Bill is easily one of the greatest action films of all time, and if you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and check it out here. The addition of a third installment is guaranteed to be an epic showdown, as long as Quentin and Uma are involved. A Samuel L. Jackson cameo is almost guaranteed, and there is an endless list of other fan favorites that may be involved as well, Harvey Keitel and Christoph Waltz are just a couple that come to mind.
